FledglingMusic.com Release Letter

We, (onwards known as the Artist) hereby give full permission to FledglingMusic.com (onwards known as the Company) to distribute our productions in whole for profit. We understand that the Company will pay us in full for each track requested and supplied to each customer. We understand that FledglingMusic.com will not pay royalties or any other fees owing to other entities as a result of our productions being subject to previous copyright. We understand that this agreement does not guarantee payment unless a customer requests the productions.
The Company will place a dedicated web page on their site – www.fledglingmusic.com to allow customers to listen to samples of our productions, and to request copies of those samples be provided, at cost, to the customers. The Company will be responsible for all repackaging of the productions.
The Company will, at no time, distribute our productions, without payment, to any third party, unless due notice has been served by the Company of this action.
The Artist waives the right of material ownership of any media passed to the company.
Should a third party request that the Artist’s productions be removed from the Company’s web page due to copyright infringements, the company will take that action, and suspend any further payment to the Artist until such times as the Artist can notify the Company, in writing, that the copyright requirements have been fulfilled by the Artist.
Should the Artist request that their productions be removed from the site, for any reason except those detailed in (1) below, the Company will remove the links to those productions.
The Artist will return a signed and dated copy of this release letter to the Company at the address above along with the productions designated for public sale and any promotional and/or informational material that pertains to the Artist.
The Company will never ask the Artist to cease distributing their own productions.

(1) In the event of the Artist being asked to remove their material due to ongoing success (e.g. – signing to a record label), we ask that a representative of the label contact the company in order to facilitate the process of ending this agreement.

Payments will be made to the Artist on a rolling month by month basis if the Artist has recorded 10 or more requests that month. If at the end of a month the number of requests is 9 or less, these values will be rolled into the next month, and payment will be made at the end of each month when the total ongoing requests equals 10 or more.
The month will be a calendar month and we will make all payments due within 5 business days close of the month. We prefer to pay via Paypal transfers, but we can make special payment methods available to pay by cheques drawn in UK Sterling funds.
